So look what we (ok, Hugh) practised putting up in the garden on Saturday!
I'm very glad Coco showed signs of enjoying the whole putting-up/taking down shenanigans too, bonus.
*I'll probably live to regret it when we go camping and have to endure floods or extreme winds - not unfamiliar to English summers.
You will NOT regret this. Totally practical & defo stylish. I've spent about 3 summers in mine doing festival tours (so about 3/4 nights a week) & it has served me through some super torrential rain & also is the best for keeping cool in hot sun in the morning (on the rare occasion that ever happens in England!).

Yeah! That's good to know Isabel. We couldn't actually work out whether they are all manufactured by the same place or if all the companies were selling their own versions - but it does seem pretty good and not nearly as heavy/bulky as we'd feared!

DeleteHurray! I have read that bell tents are better than polyester/plastic tents. They are cooler in summer and warmer in winter and extremely sturdy too. They used to be used by the military back in the day because they were so sturdy and easy to put up (I'm a bell tent geek now!) But apparently the canvas needs to be wet a couple of times before its totally waterproof. Something about the canvas bonding or something. Ok, i'll stop.
